We went to New York as a family at the end of May. We were able to go to John's graduation from West Point and to Manhattan. We vacationed with most of the Flach family...Mom, Dad, Wesley, Mary & Jason, John & Ellen, Ryan, Sarah, & Harmony...and of course the three of us. That is 13! I can say we had fun but I can also say that when vacationing with a large group (a large group of family members) it is best to be easy going and patient.
The graduation was an experience to remember. Dick Cheney spoke. The girls were a bit distracting but I was able to get the gist of it.
We had one experience memorable experience on the subway. John was pushing Whitney in the stroller and I was following him. Well the door closed between us. He, Whitney, and Wesley got off the subway while the rest of us continued on. We could not help but laugh. We met up later. In between, John and Wes were able to get Whitney to go to sleep. Amazing.
We hung out at Central Park for a little while and took pictures of the 'couples' (this includes Whitney & Harmony) on a bridge that has been used in movies.
That is all I am going to upload for now as this is time consuming. We will be able to tell baby #2 that he/she has been to New York. :)
