We got to the hospital at 10:30 and had lots of
prep stuff to take care of before the big event.

She was born at 1:26pm and weighed 8 pounds.
Dr. Dean delivered her at Charleton Methodist.

The nurses were nice and took this picture just minutes
after her birth...while they were sewing me up.
David was able to video the entire surgery!
I have not watched it yet.

We were taken back to the labor and delivery room where
grandparents were the first visitors and Whitney, of course.
What a cute family!

The Schmidt side of the family.

The Flach side of the family.

The best big sister a girl could hope for...Whitney Jo...
with proud papa.

Daddy calling friends and family about the good news
after we got to the room.

Us leaving the hospital. Many visitors came and went. We appreciate all of the visitors, gifts, food, well wishes, and prayers. Thank you so much for all of your involvement and interest in the new little life of Claire.

Whitney and Claire on their first car ride...our girls.

Proud daddy and Big sister, Whitney, made a welcome home cake for Claire. It was good. We will just have to tell her about it when she gets older. Hee Hee
She is already growing and changing so much. I will get more pictures up soon so check back. She is a week and three days now and very healthy.
Praise God!

ya! pictures. I have been telling everyone about the poop spray that occurred on Friday. It has been really funny. I enjoyed spending the day with you and the girls, hopefully everyone cleared out in time for you to rest some.
Congratulations! I hope you are feeling good... Hope to see you on Saturday!
Love,
Emily (Jennie's friend)
