July was a busy month for us and expensive. David went on a 10 day motorcycle trip with his brother, John. They had to cut the motorcycle part short when they were in a wreck. Both were rushed to the hospital and both could have been much worse. David had a broken ankle. He had surgery days after getting home and later he got a hard cast. He has three screws in his ankle. He hopes to get it off the end of August. He is on crutches but finds a way to drive himself to work and such. He still has pain and swelling. We continue to get medical bills for this and pray that they just do it right. We will verify the bills with insurance.

We are working on finding a name for baby girl #2. We assume she does not want to be called baby girl #2. We have narrowed it down to a few names. It is hard for me becuase I want to love this name as much as I love the name Whitney, but that name has 2 years of history on it. It is an interesting dynamic.

Whitney and I have been trying to have tons of fun. We went to Hurricane Harbor yesterday with my mom, her sister and kids. She really has no fear. She loved the wave pool. She is good at holding our hands though. She gets her new bed set soon. She saw the headboard and footboard and she was very excited. We have been working slowly on reducing the thumb sucking and working on potty training some. I need to do better. She is aware there is a baby in my tummy and has said sister a couple times. She is not helping with the name selection; I have asked her. She will be 2 in less than a week!

We are looking for a new home for Jake. He is not fitting in our family and we do not take enough time for him. We have a potential family interested. Jules will stay with us. She is just a different personality type.

We have a wedding on August 11th. David's little sister, Mary, is getting married to Jason Anglen. Whitney is a flower girl!!! I am so excited.
