This & That

Whitney went on her first field trip to an Assisted Living facility in Cedar Hill. The class will go monthly. They sang songs, read stories and gave out homemade cards.

She loved riding the bus. She has been wanting to ride the bus since the beginning of the school year.

Above is a picture of all the grandaughters on the Flach side. At the next gathering we will need to do a grandson picture.

Claire, Harmony, and Whitney now all have pillow pets. They love them!

Whitney week

We got to decorate this board for "All about Whitney week." We had a great time getting ready. She colored her name and we thought of all her favorites. I loved going a bit overboard!

Halloween 2010

The Fair!

The Flach family went to the State Fair over Texas. David and all five of his siblings were able to be there. It was a great day and great weather. It was Cadence's and Lennon's first trip to the fair. My best parts were the Backyard Circus and the petting zoo. I enjoyed watching both my girls trying to climb the rock wall. We tired deep fried bacon...don't need to do that again. the parade and light show were very enjoyable. It was a great day with family.

GOAL!!!!!

And Whitney made a GOAL!!! On game 12 we got a goal! I was screaming! So exciting!!! She worked diligently for her prize and I am proud of her. Goal accomplished so how we have to talk her into continuing.

Dallas zoo is FUN!

Whitney and I rode the camels at the Dallas Zoo! It's pretty awesome. !!!!

Claire fed the giraffes and one licked her hand. Very cool. Almost got it on camera. So close....

The children's zoo is so cool! We like to end our time cooling off. I can't wait to renew our membership when it gets a little cooler.

Mall of America

We rode rides at the Mall of America. They are all inside! It was really cool.

We at lunch at the Rain forest Cafe next to an eel.

We also went to a large aquarium. Whitney LOVED the sharks!
I asked her if she wanted to work with these kinds of animals when she grew up.
She looked at me like I was crazy. She said, "These are scary. They need to stay behind the glass." She is precious. We had a great time.

Above is my beautiful Scarlett. I got to see her for the second time. Whitney got to see her for the first time. Claire really wants to see her! They plan to visit Texas this summer so that is GrEaT!! She is so little. At two months old she is about 10 pounds. It is not too small but much smaller than my babies were at that age. Both were about 15 pounds and appeared uncomfortably pudgy. :) I enjoyed holding her although she did not enjoy my holding her. Whitney said, "I am really good with babies but not Scarlett." Scarlett enjoyed being held by many but there were more there than she wanted to see. Everyone loves her. She was the hit of the party.

This is the newest addition to the family. We welcomed Scarlett and now we welcome Billy. (I do think I am funny.) I gained a cousin. Emily is now Emily Strnad. They are great together. I wish my grandparents could have been there but I know from experience they would support them, love them, and call Billy their grandson. Congrats!
